My first destination wedding didn’t disappoint. I arrived at the Domaine de l’Orangerie de Lanniron and I was instantly taken with the surroundings.

After the blazing summer of 2018 we expected the good weather to carry through for the day of the ceremony. But alas the heavens opened in the morning in a spectacular fashion. Rebecca looked fantastic in her Rachel Simpson shoes and Bespoke dress and her positive spirit stopped the rain just in time for the ceremony next to the chateau.

Jon and Rebecca looked so relaxed and happy throughout the ceremony, and the guests beamed as the sun broke through the clouds optimistically. The vicar Rob, from the Christian Hells Angels led the ceremony looked so unique in his leather jacket.

After champagne and hor d’oeuvres in the sun the reception was held in the Orangerie. The speeches were hilarious. Best man Davey (signer of Detroit Social Club) had the room in stitches as he recounted the time that Jon met Noel Gallagher and literally begged him on his knees to let him join Oasis on a night out.

Jon is a true Beatles aficionado, so he hired a Beatles cover band to play. We were blown away by the bass player who looked nearly identical to Paul McCartney. Certainly, a day to be remembered. And I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier couple to share the day with.
