Working as a second shooter for Andy Sidders Photography, I started the day covering the groom Dave and his friends. Dave opted for brown tweed suits from ‘Broadstone Bros’ for the groomsmen and they all looked the part.
The ceremony took place at the St Mary the Virgin Church in Birchanger with a choral trio providing the background music. Jo walked up the aisle with her son, and immediately started crying when she saw Dave.
The reception took place in a Tipi in Clavering, Essex. The Tipi was set up next to a lake with golden wheat fields surrounding. The site looked like an English country fair with a popcorn machine, games for the kids and a fish and chip van. Inside the tables were decorated with beautiful flowers, wedding favours and bottles of home-made Sloe Gin, which the guest shared during the speeches. A beautiful yellow glow filled the Tipi during the speeches. Dave took to the stage with bags of confidence as he delivered a heartfelt message to Jo.
A live funk and soul band played to round the day off.
